1990s Moschino Cartoon Couture Ensemble

This is an adorable ensemble consisting of a top and skirt. The top is a simple cut, adorned with a long gold rope with tassels at the end. The skirt is also quite simple and fitted, adorned with a gold embroidered chain with a medallion on the hip that reads "Cartoon Couture". The style is in the vein of Chanel, perhaps it was a little riff by Franco Moschino on Karl Lagerfeld's designs for Chanel. The fabric is black silk crepe. The skirt is lined and has a small back zipper, the top is unlined with no closures. The long gold rope is attached at the back of the neck and hangs free so you can tie it or drape it as you wish.
