Sant Angelo, Giorgio
Count Giorgio Imperiale di Sant'Angelo was born in Florence, Italy in 1933. He was raised in Argentina and immigrated to America in 1962. He studied architecture in Florence, industrial design in Barcelona, and art at the Sorbonne in Paris. He worked as an animator at Walt Disney Studios, Hollywood, 1962-63 then as a textile and jewelry designer 1963-67. Sant'Angelo opened his own ready-to-wear business in 1966 and made couture pieces for the well to do and celebrated as well.
