1980s Issey Miyake Plantation Ensemble

This is such a sexy, early work by Miyake. The fabric is 100% cotton, the color is a rich lavender blue. The skirt is long and straight with an elastic waist and a little slit up the left side. The top is super cute and unique. Check out how the fabric comes around from the front meeting in the back, leaving an open area, and a little cape hanging down from the shoulders. It is a striking ensemble.
