1970s Andre Courreges Vinyl Dress
This type of fabric is commonly called vinyl, but actually its cotton covered in a coat of polyurethane. Its a gorgeous textile that is radiant like leather but is lighter and easier to wear.
This beautiful dress was created in the early 1970s for Courreges Hyperbole line. I have never seen a Hyperbole label with a serial number, so I am guessing this dress was a special edition. The dress has typical Courreges lines, with converging points under the arms, the empire waist and prominent front seam. The dress also has a bright white plastic zipper and an embroidered logo. The dress is chocolate brown, with a silky brown AC logo lining and a back zipper.
