1960s Courreges Couture Dress

This is a very early, couture piece by Andre Courreges. Its definitely shows a strong influence from his training at Balenciaga.
The fabric is a thick woven wool of bright green. It is a beautiful cut, just barely fitted to show a woman's shape, but it still hangs away from the body like a sac or trapeze look. Notice how 6 panels of fabric come together perfectly in the center. The pocket flaps are just for show. There is a metal zipper down the back. The dress is lined in silk
