Dating this piece is very difficult. Stylistically, it is very 1930s, but the block print label is more in line with the 1950s.
The guipure lace is some of the finest I have ever seen and is obviously hand made. The dress is lined in silk
The dress is a simple straight sheath, with a wonderful ruffle at the hem. The jacket is also simple, with the ruffle at the cuffs and a scalloped edge along the neck and lapels. It is a timeless and elegant piece.
