1970s Valentino Evening Dress

This is a truly divine Valentino creation. The fabric is incredible. It is pure silk with a devore' type effect as there are bands of shiny charmeuse and bands of sheer chiffon, but its a continuous piece of fabric with no seams between the bands. To add to the drama, the "bands" show different shades of brown, ranging from a peachy/earthy brown to a rich chocolate. The dress is lined in a neutral silk chiffon. The cut is fairly simple, with a straight skirt and a "spaghetti strap" tank style bodice. The dress has a long back, hand set zipper.

The dress is in excellent condition.
