1960s Valentino Floral Silk Dress

This is a rare, early work by Valentino. Though the label states it was sold in his boutique, the quality and hand finishes are completely couture. There is absolutely nothing mass produced about this delightful dress. The fabric is silk, printed with blue and white flowers, trimmed in brown with very fine dark stripes. The cut is elegant and very pretty, with a wide waist band that accentuates the bust. The dress is lined in silk.
