1970s Hanae Mori Butterfly Poncho - Tunic

I have had a handful of these ponchos, I think at least 5 and each one has been either a different color or a different type of silk. I really have to wonder how many different ones were made. This one is cream color, scarf weight silk twill with a gorgeous, bright butterfly across the front and back. It looks to be as simple as two scarves sewn together, but actually the construction is much more sophisticated, with perfect seaming at the neck and down the arms. The sides are open for a free fit. The edges seem to be hand rolled.
