1970s Halston Wool Cape

Halston Outerwear does not get any better than this. His capes are so dreamy, and are incredibly rare to find.
This one is made from incredible woven wool that is super soft, almost cashmere in feel. The amount of fabric used is mind blowing... and the fact that this tremendous piece is made from only 2 panels of fabric is quite amazing as well. Each panel is a half circle with a radius of 44". That makes a diameter of 88" when its laid out in a full circle.
Even though there is a ample amount of fabric, the weight of the garment is not at all heavy. It is substantial, but since the wool is of such an extraordinary quality, it does not seem heavy. The fine quality of the wool also is responsible for the incredible movement and flow of the cape when it is worn. Seriously, you feel otherworldly when you have it on.
The cape has two hook closures at the neck and is free to the hem.
