1970s Halston Wool Skirt

Every woman should have at least one black wool skirt in her wardrobe to wear with a favorite cashmere turtle neck or vintage YSL silk blouse. This one in particular is a must have as it is so beautifully made, or the most luxurious wool. Its a very strange wool, black on one side, red on the other. At first I thought it woven in 2 colors but under magnification it seems a very thin layer of red wool has been sewn to the black with tiny stitches everywhere. It appears the 2 fabrics were sewn to make the skirt, then the wools were fused together. There are side pockets and a side zipper with hook closure.
