2000s Junya Watanabe CDG Wool Ensemble

This gorgeous ensemble was made in 2003. It is a top and a skirt, both made of rich, felt like wool with a touch of nylon. Both pieces are lined in a silky rayon. The skirt has a side zipper and hook closure, the top has a 3/4 length zipper down the back. All edges were left unfinished with intentional fraying of the fabric. The top features two bow-like details on either side, and that feature is repeated in larger scale in the skirt. Note the beautiful seams in the bodice. Note, the last 2 photos are in negative to show the detail of the "bows" and incredible seaming.
