1970s Valentino Raw Silk Coat Dress

This is a gorgeous, early piece by Valentino made of a rich, heavy raw silk complete with lovely slubs giving it amazing texture. The cut is classical, yet super sexy with the high slits up the legs, the low neckline and the fabulous tailored fit. The two hip pocket flaps are just for show, the only real pocket is on the left breast. The dress can be worn open like a jacket. The dress is unlined save for the silk lined pocket.
