1950s Hourglass Dress Suit

I found this sweet suit in a shop in Paris, but sadly the label was cut out so I have no one to attribute it to. It seems to be more pret a porter then couture, though it was extremely well made and beautifully designed. It was probably a "copy" of a Haute Couture design. The fabric seems to be a silk wool blend, neither the jacket nor the dress is lined. The dress is a fitted sheath with a long zipper down the side. The jacket is very smart, with raglan sleeves, a nipped waist and a lovely, large split back collar. The buttons up the front are covered in matching fabric save for the big rhinestone one at the lower left hip.

This suit is in very good condition.
