1940s Fortuny Jacket

$ 0.00
This is a delightful little jacket dating to the early 1940s, designed by Countess Gozzi for the Fortuny boutique in New York. Though the shop primarily sold Fortuny fabrics, Gozzi occasionally would make a coat or a jacket, so these are really quite rare. The quality of the workmanship is top notch couture. The design is very fun with the slightly padded shoulder, beautifully draped back and open front. The fabric is gorgeous, a blueish silver print on cream silk. The jacket is lined in silk.
