1950s Hardy Amies Grape Print Dress

This is what I call a great Hardy Amies! Its a true flight of fancy, equipped with pleats, bows and the most wonderful grape bunch print. Just look how the bodice gathers to the waist, and the illusion of the split skirt in front, all tied up with neat little bows. The skirt even has a built in petticoat with an eyelet ruffle at the bottom that peep out from the hem. The dress has a metal side zipper and belt loops but sadly the belt has not remained with the dress. The fabric is a sleek polished cotton, with a print so lovely and vivid, in shades of violet and blue.

condition : Excellent. Slight yellowing to the petticoat, but the overall look is wonderful.
