The Nouvelle Boutique label is not Givenchy's couture line, but when you study this gown, you see couture touches everywhere. The very fine fabric choice, the incredible composition, and all the hand finishing.. its just incredible.
The fabric is a luscious green silk velvet that was embossed (pressed, not printed or dyed) with a leopard print. The look is subtle, and very striking. The dress has a cross-over, wrap style bodice, with a zipper at the waist, then it is open again from the knee to the hem. Â The sleeves have tiny zippers at the wrist. The gorgeous sash can be worn as a belt (as shown) or you could wear it at the neck as well. It is a supremely red carpet worthy gown.
