1970s John Bates Cranberry Red Dress

This is a truly lovely dress by John Bates. The fabric is a nice jersey, probably rayon. The color is a deep, robust cranberry red, perfect for any season, but so lovely for the holidays. The cut is really pretty, and very flattering with the loose, draped bodice, a waist that cinches tight to the body by way or a wide sash, and the loose, flowing skirt. The back is open from the neck to the waist for a little extra sex appeal.
