1970s Giorgio Sant Angelo Sequin Top

This style of sequins and beadwork on wool was very popular in the late 1950s & early 1960s. A decade later Sant Angelo updated the style and made a super sexy, rich an beautiful top of rich Merino wool of a rosy pink, covered with iridescent sequins, stylized beaded hearts and little beaded fringes. Looking at the inside, it seems all the embellishments were hand applied!! The top closes down the front with beaded buttons and loops. It is an amazing piece.
