1960s Norman Norell Tweed Suit
Norman Norell really knew how to make a suit. As far as construction and quality of workmanship and materials, he rivaled the best couturiers in Paris, Italy and Spain.
This suit is made from rich wool tweed. I love how the seemingly random bits of lack and white actually created stripes when you view it from a distance. The skirt is a classic, below the knee straight pencil cut, with a side metal zipper and silk lined side pockets. It is fully lined in silk. The jacket is just adorable.
