1960s Christian Dior Houndstooth Print Leather Jacket
Its made from the a wonderful leather thats so soft and supple, it could be lamb or goat. The leather was printed with a black and white houndstooth pattern. The trim is a heavier white leather zig-zag cut on the inner edge with big holes cut out along the outer edge. The black stitching on the white leather makes the effect even more striking. The buttons down the front are thick white plastic with black centers. They were sewn with white thread for even more contrast. The jacket's cut reminds me of a waiter's jacket, slightly shorter in the back, with a nice point in the front. There are very small, shallow pockets on the hip. The jacket is fully lined in black satin.
