1950s Christian Dior Jacket

This is a lovely little jacket made of divine deep blue slubbed linen (perhaps a linen silk blend), lined in pure silk. The cut is classic Dior with clean, neat lines, little faux pocket flaps, and the martingale along the back. It was most likely paired with a dress when sold, but now it would be adorable worn with pants, a skirt, or even with jeans. The label is very rare as it is very early Dior ready to wear, made for import, before the standard import/ready to wear labels were more mass produced.
