1960s Ken Scott Silk Dress

$ 0.00
Ken Scott was nicknamed ‘"The Gardener of Fashion" (Il giardiniere della moda), and for good reason. In 1954 Christian Dior selected on of Scott's floral prints for his haute couture show, and from there Ken Scott grew a garden of color for the eagerly waiting fashion world.
I have owned quite a few Scott dresses, but this is by far, the best I have ever seen. Its pure silk, a hammered silk so it has incredible weight and an amazing feel. The floral print is magnificent, the colors are so rich and radiant, you can almost imagine a scent coming from them. It is truly art to wear.
The style of the dress is as remarkable as the print. The tunic cut and wide sleeves is so easy and fun to wear. Worn as a mini dress, or as a tunic top over pants or a skirt, either way, it will be amazing. The attached scarf neck is open to the back so it can be tied or draped as you wish.
