This is that perfect little something to wear on that island getaway, summer party, cruise, or pool party! Made by the great Yves Saint Laurent, this outfit shows off his flair for the unusual, and love of a good party. It just screams party, doesn't it?
It is a pretty complex piece. At first glance it seems like it could have been thrown together by some native gal, but then when you study it, you see why it looks so much more fabulous than any native piece. All the tucks, pleats, drapes and ties were executed with precision.The top closes with several hooks on the side, covered with the dramatic tie. The skirt portion closes just at the waist, and has that front tie to secure it at the hips, but then its open all the rest of the way down.
The fabric is cotton, the print is a combination of camouflage and leopard spots.!
