1970s Yves Saint Laurent Dark Color Block Velvet Jacket

This is a truly gorgeous jacket made of light, uber soft velvet (probably silk or a silk/rayon velvet). The bodice portion is jet black and dark gray alternating back to front. The sleeves are deep chocolate brown. The cut features a deeply scooped neck, tight fitting sleeves with a smooth shoulder and a notched, vest like bottom that dips lower in the center. The jacket is lined in black silk and closes with six black glass buttons, faceted on the edges like fine gems. There are very fine, metal zippers at the wrists.
