These YSL corset tops are often considered to have been created for the 1976 Russian Ballet collection, but according to the last picture on this page (from the YSL retrospective at the Met, 1983) this top belongs to the 1977 Spanish collection.
It is a wonderful piece made from black cotton, accented with gold brick-a-brack trim. The long, braided tie is finished off with fun little tassels. This top can be for daywear or evening.
