1970s Missoni Silk Cape

Drift into your next event wearing this amazing vintage Missoni and you can be sure all eyes will be on you. The silk is whisper soft and feather light, with amazing drape and beautiful luster. The color is somewhere between aquamarine and gray, with tiny black dots artfully arranged to give the effect of ripples on the fabric.

The cape has a big, draped hood that looks lovely worn up and even more wonderful worn down over the shoulders. The dots on the hood are arranged in a tighter pattern to give a smaller ripple effect than on the body of the cape. There is a modest tie at the neck of the same woven ribbon that trims the whole cape. The cut of the cape is shorter in the back and front so it comes to longer points down the sides. It i
