1980s Holly Harp Dress

Like any great Harp design, there are layers upon layers of fabric. The skirting is layered like flower petals. There are four tiers of petals in the skirting, a big flounce at the neck coming to a dramatic point in the back, and two more layers that create a peplum at the waist. The sleeves are beautifully gathered. The whole dress is lined in black silk chiffon. The whole piece floats like a flower in the wind.
