1993 Chanel Jacket

This is a magnificent creation from Chanel's Spring 1993 collection. The fabric is a navy blue cotton, textured like a very fine pique, lined in blue silk with tiny CC logos woven in the fabric. Its a wonderful cut, I love the big lapels, they are triple stitched along the edges for that dramatic ridged effect.

The four gorgeous gold buttons (marked Chanel on the back) are just for show, the jacket closes with that amazing chain and medallion belt. The chain is attached to the inside of the jacket on each side so if you wanted to wear it open they would just hang down, or tie them with a simple over under and voila! Perfection! The buttons on the sleeve match the ones in front, only they are a little smaller. Its clothing and jewelry all in one!!!
