1960s Bonnie Cashin Color Block Dress

$ 0.00
This is the pinnacle of Bonnie Cashin style. Her love of leather goes way beyond her designs for Coach. In nearly every Cashin creation, you will find, at the very least a bit of leather trim. More often, the whole darn thing is leather, or in this case, butter soft suede.
Like every Cashin design, this dress will be comfortable and easy to wear, but not like every Cashin, this dress is pretty darn sexy! Check out the neckline, quite deep for Bonnie. She probably had a matching turtle neck for it back in the day, which would be very sexy too... but nowadays you can wear it open and have some fun!
I adore the colors she chose. Deep grape, rust, brown and mustard are all signature Cashin colors.
The empire waist and short kimono style sleeves is very unique and fun. The gentle flair of the skirt is graceful, but the long panels of suede create a very lanky and slim look. Its just plain fabulous if you ask me! There are even huge side pockets cast a slight arc from the crest of the hip to the center of the skirt. It is rare to find Cashin suede garments in such pristine condition as this. The dress is fully lined.
