1960s Long Beaded Dress

This dress is as beautiful as it is heavy... and my word, it weighs in at 5 pounds!!! The weight comes from the thousands of jet black beads hand sewn to fine tulle. Scroll down to the close up photo at the bottom to see the fine beadwork. The body of the dress is adorned with vertical lines of tiny glass beads with larger beads here and there. The effect reminds me of rain on a window. The wide bands of "trim" are elaborately beaded with larger beads and some sequins. 

The dress is a simple sheath style with a long back zipper. It is completely sheer so you can go super sexy wearing a body suit or a bra and shorts, or you can wear it with a full slip for a more elegant look.

condition: excellent, a few beads may be missing but there are no large areas of missing beads.
