1960s Donald Brooks Cape

This is the first Donald Brooks for Main Street items I have come across. Its not what comes to mind when I think Donald Brooks, but it certainly expresses his fun and whimsical style.
The color is a reddish orange, most likely a polished cotton (no fabric tag) and I doubt it is weather proof... but it could be. The buttons are real mother of pearl, and girl, are they pearly against the bright orange. The cape is lined in taffeta.
I love the rounded collar and the huge front pockets. The long slits down the front are for your arms, obviously. It is just too adorable!!
