1950s Beaded Cocktail Dress

This dress has no label to identify the designer, but there is a little typed tag that indicates that this was most likely a designer's sample. It is a darling dress, very well made and smartly designed for maximum va-va-voom!
The dress is white silk, covered in squiggles of silver lined glass beads. The looped fringe of beads around the top is really wonderful, I love that it continues under the arms giving so much potential for a good shimmy shake. Its a classic "wiggle dress" fitted close to the body, fully lined in silk and closes with a metal zipper down the back.
