Patrick Kelly's untimely death after only 5 years of designing in Paris left only a scant few pieces that surface for sale from time to time. Most of these are pretty over the top crazy, but occasionally one is found that is not just unique, but is totally wearable.
This lovely dress is made from ultra luxurious wool jersey, unlined, wish a small, hidden back zipper and strong shoulder pads. The dress is fitted to the body, but is not skin tight like many of his dresses. The multi color sash is sewn to the dress across the waist and hips, then is free to throw over your shoulder giving the dress a distinct African flavor.
