1970s Adolfo Knit Dress

Now this is what I call an Adolfo. Most of what I find by the Cuban born designer are his conservative, kind of boring suits he produced in the 70s & 80s, but sometimes, if you are lucky you can find one of his uber sexy, ultra chic creations such as this.... a prime example of an Adolfo hottie!

It is made from a ribbed knit, I believe it is wool. It is not a super tight knit, so it is semi-opaque. To make it even more sexy the neckline is wickedly low, with an even lower keyhole that nearly reaches the navel. If you were really worried about showing off so much chest, you could raise the stitching that now holds the neckline closed up a few inches, or leave the first stitches and wear a broach a little higher between the two sides. Personally, I love it just the way it is. It is an elegant and sexy dress.
